The new floor coating was also to meet the requirement of looking first-class while still withstanding the stresses and strains of everyday traffic.

- The old flooring had to be removed and levelled with a filler. However, an asphalt floor appeared in the middle under the old flooring. . This had to be removed down to the concrete base to be able to apply the new coating without any problems.
