    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

        Determine the nature and extent of the infestation.

        In case of doubt, consult a structural engineer.

        Strip away infested wood down to the deepest feeding tunnels.

        If wooden building elements have suffered significant structural impairment, reinforce or replace them with timber that has been given preventive treatment.

      • Preparations

        Remove decomposed wood and loose wood fibres with a steel brush.

    • Application
      • By brush / Spraying
      • Apply by brushing or spraying.

        The necessary application quantity is usually reached in 2-3 treatments.

        When using for infestation control in recreation rooms or adjoining rooms, use of the room as a recreation room is only permitted from 4 weeks after the treatment.

        Seal opened containers well and use contents as soon as possible.

      • Drying time: can be worked over after 24 h
      • Once dry, the treated wood can be further treated with Remmers wood products and fireproofing systems after no sooner than four weeks.

      • Drying

        Approx. 24 hours

        Practice values at +20 °C and 65% relative humidity.

        Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity delay drying.

      • Thinning

      • Clean tools immediately after use with V 101 Thinner.
        Dispose of the remains from cleaning properly.

    • Storage / shelf life
      • Store frost-free and cool / protect for moisture / close containers
      • Store in well-sealed, original containers, out of the reach of children and in a dry, cool, well-ventilated room which is protected from direct sunlight and frost. No smoking is permitted in storage areas.

    • Usage
      • Control measures: 300-350 ml/m²

        Preventive protection in the context of an application for controlling purposes (GK 1 only):
        200-250 ml/m²

    • General information
      • The product has been evaluated according to the Biocidal products regulation (EU) No. 528/2012 and approved by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA). This approval replaces the general approval by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

        In accordance with DIN 68800-1, wood preservation measures must be planned in a timely and careful manner in coordination with all parties involved in the construction (architect, client, contractor) taking into account legal requirements and local conditions.

    • Disposal instructions
      • During use, all product losses must be collected and reused or disposed of as hazardous waste. The product and its residues must not be discharged into drains, sewers or directly into soil or water. The product must not be allowed to enter waste water when cleaning equipment.
