    Field of application

    • For use on floors/walls indoors
    • Waterproofing of movement and construction joints in areas subjected to especially high stresses, e.g. building elements in the sewage treatment sector (special agreement required)

    Properties

    • Provides permanent waterproofing
    • Resistant to diluted acids, alkaline solutions as well as to saline solutions
    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

Detailed information can be found in the current Technical Data Sheet for the respective adhesive or embedded product.

    • Application
      • By brush / By roller / Filling knife
      • Apply adhesive or embedded material as specified in the current version of the respective data sheet.

Place the perforated edge on the first layer and then work in with a further layer of adhesive or embedded material.

The joint tape can be hot-welded with commercially available hot air
blowers (at least 2300 watt). When welding, use the lowest possible temperature and make sure that only the surface is slightly melted and the tightness of the product is not compromised. The area to be welded should also be roughened first.

    • Application instructions
      • The permissible application temperatures depend on the product properties of the waterproofing products used.

When using a filling knife to embed the joint tape, the filling knife should only be placed crosswise across the joint tape.

Make sure the joint tape is not cut by sharp edges.
